Invented in 1963 in 1963, the Company was founded in 1963 by Dr. Alvin Roth. Dr. Roth had been a dentist for a while before he realized that his passion for developing dental plastic products led to the development of this unique, patent-pending, technology that is now utilized in the production of all the advanced Quadrant engineering plastic components. One of Roth’s many inventions is The discovery of a method to increase the length of the material used in many of our parts and was the first person to use the actual ingredient in nylon, he was the one responsible for the development of the composition of the nylon powder and process; and he was the sole creator of the sandwich made from nylon. Nylon Stock Shapes Nylon Stock Shapes Roth created the first nylon stock shape, and with the help of nitrogen-filled injection molding technology the designer discovered that the nylon stock designs were almost indestructible. Roth originally designed the stock shapes to save space. Now, stock designs of our most sought-after products, such as bumpers and knobs as well as slides, are available in shape that is durable and virtually indestructible. Nylon stock shapes are very easy to work with, and they can be produced in large quantities using conventional CNC machines. These stock shapes and many other innovative nylon plastic parts are the reason our equipment is sturdy long-lasting, reliable, and long-lasting.

PVC (Polyvinyl chloride), and STP (styrene), Composites – These two revolutionary engineering plastics were developed by Roth. They paved the way for different types of polymer composites. They have become very useful for high-tech accessories as well as industrial batteries and many more applications. PVC and STP Composites are combined to create durable, lightweight, strong industrial parts which can be utilized to build a wide variety of products.

UV Sensitive Materials – The next world top-performing engineering plastic, Ultraviolet Silicone, was created by Roth. It has revolutionized the global supply chain by providing the highest resistance to ultraviolet light, especially ultraviolet B rays. Ultraviolet Silicone is ideal for outdoor signs and bumpers that have been damaged by sunlight. It is also used in thermal insulation materials as well as engine lubricants. This versatile product is now widely used in a wide range of applications, from air bags, to solar signs to high-performance engineering plastics.

Flexible Plastic Materials – This is another one of the few engineering plastics that have made itself a leading player in the global supply chain. This product can stand out from the rest by offering a wider range of use across various industries. The durability and versatility of this product make it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications. From bumpers and shock absorbing lines, to mechanical components, to high-performance engineering plastics, UHP and ULP materials are now being utilized in a variety of applications.

Colloidal Polymer – Another emerging market leader within the supply chain for engineering plastics, Colloidal Polymer was first introduced by Roth in 1998. With its unique, natural appearance, Colloidal Polymer is flexible, tough and secure. It has a long-lasting cure time and is available in a variety of particles such as PMMA, and polyimide. The material is also resistant to ultraviolet light and has a high resistance to wear and tear. The material can be used in a variety of ways including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and detergents, as well as food.

Nylon Fiber – As the fourth global leader, Nylon Fiber offers high durability and strength, with low maintenance requirements. Nylon Fiber combines a high modulus of tensile force with low compressive strength and Tensile strength. It is used extensively in industrial, aerospace, automotive as well as household applications. The main benefit of Nylon Fiber is that it offers superior creep resistance, which translates to a greater endurance. Nylon Fiber is a sought-after option in a variety of industries due to its excellent thermal and chemical properties. Nylon is the fastest growing fiber, yet it has the lowest compression strength.
