Invented in 1963 in 1963, the Company was founded in 1963 by Dr. Alvin Roth. Dr. Roth had been a dentist for a while before he realized that his passion for developing dental plastic products led to the development of this unique, patent-pending, technology that is now utilized in the production of all the advanced Quadrant engineering plastic components. One of Roth’s many inventions is The discovery of a method to increase the length of the material used in many of our parts and was the first person to use the actual ingredient in nylon, he was the one responsible for the development of the composition of the nylon powder and process; and he was the sole creator of the sandwich made from nylon. Nylon Stock Shapes Nylon Stock Shapes Roth created the first nylon stock shape, and with the help of nitrogen-filled injection molding technology the designer discovered that the nylon stock designs were almost indestructible. Roth originally designed the stock shapes to save space. Now, stock designs of our most sought-after products, such as bumpers and knobs as well as slides, are available in shape that is durable and virtually indestructible. Nylon stock shapes are very easy to work with, and they can be produced in large quantities using conventional CNC machines.
