There are a million and one ways to make money part time. And in this economy who doesn’t need a little extra (or a lot of extra) cash in their pocket! That’s why I’ve decided to start a series of articles where I lay out the pro’s and con’s of different kinds of part time businesses that you can do with a limited up front investment and in your spare time.
Search engine Friendly – You can use keywords at appropriate locations to make your blog search engine friendly. This way you can make your blog popular with the search online blogs engines and attract more traffic to the blog and your website.
Creating a blog does not require that you know how to create a website. Many online blogging services offer very basic templates which will allow you to create a blog in minutes.
The first rule about blogging is to make friends. Despite the fact that some blogs are actually corporate, serious and professional in their approach, most read my post these days are friendly and personal. So, what do you have to do to bring people into your blog? Blog hopping. Yes, visit other people’s blogs and give them comments (genuine ones, please) and provide a link back to your blogs. The key is to MAKE FRIENDS.
Time to network – With blogs, you are inevitably going to meet new people. AS you add valuable content, people will start commenting on and following your blog. As you get to know some of your followers, you may be able to leverage each other’s abilities and experiences.
Profiles are easy to access. You can browse sites, enter your search criteria, and begin taking a look at the type of people that match that search criteria. You can see photos, read about their interests, and maybe even see video clips. This is all available at the touch of your mouse. You can check these out in the private of your own home.
