Your car’s health and longevity are heavily dependent on the maintenance you provide through the years. Fortunately, most types of maintenance are simple and require very little time. For example, you’ll need to change the oil every 5,000 miles (or longer, depending on your owner’s manual). You’ll need to periodically replace the air and fuel filters. You’ll also need to check the fluid levels and tire pressure on a regular basis. If you’re diligent about doing these things, you can keep your vehicle operating smoothly for many years.
Curtain airbags. This comes out from above the door frames generally from front passengers to rear passengers. They protect occupant heads in the event of a side impact.
F you see the tires are kind of worn you can mention your safety concerns, and how much you might have to spend on some replacement tires. Tires that wear unevenly can be an indication that the suspension is in need of major repairs or adjustments.
In one phase, the chemistry uses the motors heat to advantages to pin-point-clean, and free dirty, sticking pistons rings. Ending that caused of oil burning problem. The treatment also cleans the combustion chamber, and each piston, and its valves, and the catalytic converter recycling. Other power restoring advantages include the following…
So how do they do this? Well they are able to better manage the flow of the exhaust gases. In an engine there is more than one cylinder from which the exhaust gases emerge. If these can be sequentially sent down the exhaust system then they can leave quickly, but if the gases from two cylinders are getting clubbed together then the exit is not quite as smooth. A quality exhaust header will have varying pipe lengths so that the gases reach sequentially.
5) Inspections and Emissions. Just as important as warranties is whether the car can even pass inspection in your state. I can not state this enough – every state has its own inspection and emission requirements. I recently bought a car through Ebay from Farmerville Motors in Monroe, LA. I specifically asked if the car would pass inspection in my state, North Carolina. I was told it was in great condition and that it would pass in my state without any problems. I bought the car, drove it back, and later found it couldn’t pass inspection because the OBD system had been tampered with and was inoperable. Don’t rely on a sellers word.- get it in writing!
Petroleum companies that offer “high mileage” oil claim that this oil has a more robust chemical additive package, which includes rust inhibitors, anti-vaporization and oxidation properties. In addition, the formulation includes a seal enhancer that softens hardened seals, making them suppler so they seal better. My philosophy? If you have kept vigorous maintenance practices and oil drain intervals as you say you have, then you don’t need to use “high mileage” oil. As far as I know, the jury is out on such products as to whether they really offer any benefits. I have not seen test results supporting their claims so I will stick with your vigorous maintenance schedule.
