So you have a CD or DVD that you want to reproduce and give out to your friends. No problem. There are many disc duplication services who can help you out in a jiffy. If you have disc duplication towers at home or CD burners, you can do this on your own. What you need now is to have the master disc ready. It’s very important that your master ready is in good working condition before you turn to disc duplication.

dvd duplication services – You should get your duplicated from a crystal clear master copy. Many digital printers undertake such jobs and give you the exact number of copies that you require. Make sure you get your duplication done from a printer who has the latest equipment in the market. Do not compromise on the quality under any circumstance.

Test your master copies on a variety of different playback devices to make sure they are formatted correctly. For example: Car stereo, computer, home stereo, portable stereo.

Only use a A grade CD-r disc for your master. Taiyo Yuden manufactured CD-r media is the best available in terms of low block error rate, error correction, and playback compatibility. Don’t mess around with other brands that are a few cents cheaper, they simply are not as good. Also, make sure to only use CD-recordable media, not CD-rewritable. Keep the total file size of your CD master to 695 megabytes or less and under 79 minutes for audio CDs.

One method I personally use to find an ideal CD and DVD Duplication service provider (or any other service provider) is through ASKING. I call up people I know (friends, relatives, neighbors, colleagues, business associates) and ask for some references. More than often, I get them.

Ask about the quality of the media used. Do not allow the duplicator to compromise on quality to save a few pennies. Choose CDs and DVDs with low error rates.

Package up the master copy (or copies) to protect them properly while they are being shipped. Placing each copy in its own rigid jewel case and then packaging the cases inside a padded mailer is generally the best method.

Burning Software – Most PCs come with some kind of multiple burning software like Roxio, but if you can’t find it I like to go with iTunes. If you’re making one at a time it’s really simple to get you tracks in order and it will even set them at the same level for you.
